Description:
Due to the expansion of the port of Rotterdam (Europoort – Maasvlakte 2) it was necessary to repair, expand and partially by the new motorway feeder build a total length of 37 km on the highway A15.
The main part of the route consists of construction of a new Botlek bridge. On the bridge there is road, rail corridor, also cycling track and a walkway for pedestrians across the river “Oude Maas”. It consists of two fields that can simultaneously as the stroke range. Spans the length of the bridge piers is 102.5 m section width of 50 m. Maximum lift height is 31 m. The total length of the bridge is 1243.
