Description: The D1 motorway is part of the basic communication system of the Slovak Republic and is included in the network of motorways and expressways SR numbered D1. Its function is to ensure safe, capacitive fast road links with the highest level of comfort while ensuring the highest traffic function in the area with regional funkciou.Diaľnica D1 has a section Fričovce- Svinia length of 11.217 km. In this section there are 85 buildings, including 15 bridges. The affected area is bounded on the west side of the village Fričovce. On the east side is completed section connecting the intersection pigs in well operated motorway section D1 Svinia- Prešov west. The section begins in operation since 2004 – section D1 Beharovce- Fričovce. This is where the intersection “Fričovce”. This junction allows the connection of roads I / 18 in all directions. The section will be completed at the intersection of “swine”, which begins downstream section D1 Svinia- Prešov west, which has been in operation since 2010.
